I had my gallbladder surgery on 23rd December, 2024 and I am here to share my experience and after-thoughts with you.

Although I don’t want anyone to go through any surgery, but I know how the reality is.

So many people around me are going through surgeries these days, especially gallbladder stone surgeries, which by the way, means removal of the entire gallbladder.

Children who are just 10–12 years old to people like me who have just entered their thirties. It’s extremely common, especially in India.

How It Started

First of all, my grandmother and mother, both had their gallbladders removed.

So, maybe it runs in the family.

But, if I don’t take that into account, I’ve had very bad eating habits.

I worked night shift for over 5 years which had already messed up my eating times and sleeping cycle.

On top of that, I was addicted to junk food.

After I left my job and started freelancing, I started earning a lot more and started eating junk food almost every day!
